I've been doing the calendar thing and feel a lot more organized. Also, every week I pick a new cookbook or cooking magazine and try one or two new recipes. My family really appreciates trying new things, which helps.

awesome advice.

I am happy if I get time to cook at all!

This is terrific info..I have tried making a menu, but I really like the idea of having certain dishes on certain days. It will make my planning much easier I´m sure!! Thanks!!

Great ideas!!!

We totally eat some of the same things on a regular basis....spaghetti, pizza, tacos....but I also like to try new recipes fairly often.

Do you have any cookbooks you would recommend? (think "mother with 4 kids) Also...is there anything you keep in your pantry (not a boxed dinner) for those last minute, "oh-my-gosh-do-I-have-to-feed-you-again" nights?

I love your blog! Still waiting on that book!

Props to the calender idea as well. I used to snicker at women who planned meals out weeks at a time, but it works. Check out meals.com, lots of new uses for the same old foods. I really like it.
