This is homemade cream of potato soup.
Six small red potatoes, with skins on - I diced them and threw them in a pot with four cups of whole milk and half a stick of butter. Then I added salt and pepper and a crushed and minced clove of garlic. I simmered it until the potatoes were tender, and then sort of mushed some of the potatoes up and served it.
This was really filling - I meant to eat a salad too, but after the soup, I was done. I didn't eat the roll, either.
