Okay, I know. I know! Behold the potential dog-crap! And also the mixed up food schedule! What can I say... the kids revolted when told of the fried rice and lettuce wraps I had planned.
Starting with the salad:
Romaine lettuce, one diced avocado, diced jicama, dried cranberries, diced red pepper and you can't really see it, but there is some diced green apple in there, too. Dressing is olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Moving along - sliced strawberries, topped with whipping cream (unsweetened) and a little almond extract. You could do these with vanilla whole milk yogurt, or sour cream, or just eat them plain. I like my fat, what can I say?
Finally, you see 1/6th of a Freschetta Ultra Thin 5-Cheese Pizza. Which, in and of itself doesn't seem like it would contain dog-crap, but a glance a the label reveals all sorts of pasteurized processed "cheeses" and "flavors." I'll make the next pizza from scratch, so I can control the ingredients.
(It was really yummy, though.)
